KARA ARMSTRONG

Currently a Designer at a Women’s performance apparel company based in San Francisco.

I have a Bachelor of Science in Fashion Design from the College of Design, Architecture, Art and Planning at the University of Cincinnati. During my 5 year co-op program, I participated in over 3 internships ranging from lingerie and ready to wear to menswear. I also had the opportunity to take a solo 2 month backpacking trip across Europe to collect design research and inspiration for my senior capstone titled, No Bad Days. Upon my graduation in 2017, I was recruited into a competitive Design Academy within a performance company in the Bay Area and have since been promoted to Designer within the brand. With my current position, I now have 5 years of design experience within performance apparel and athleisure in knits and wovens.

I am actively seeking a Senior Designer position in my next role.
